Artistic Fighter that brings the heat a entertainment [Interview 2026-10-21] Cesar "El Mago" Orellana grew up on the east side of Des Moines and trains at Porcelli's Training Center, where his longtime wrestling coach Nate "Teddy Bear" Williams (his coach since eighth grade) steered him into MMA around 2020. He took the name El Mago ("the magician") from the band Mägo de Oz, which he grew up listening to, and calls himself a natural entertainer who leads with fast-paced striking and kicks. Away from the gym he is starting a welding apprenticeship. He fights for the AFC amateur 125 lb title at AFC 71 and plans to turn pro afterward.
